For a great selection of wines, real ales from local breweries or an ice-cold bottled beer, the Priory Inn is a welcoming sight - casually understated with effortless good taste.
We extend our enjoyment of showcasing exceptional local produce into our bar:
Lager and beers that change with the seasons from Cotswold Brewing Company;
Damson Brandy, Sloe Gin or Quince liqueur from Cotswold Country Liqueurs;and
Bow-in-the-Cloud, the award-winning white and rosé sparkling wine grown from a family-owned vineyard in Malmesbury. Our wine pichets are individual pieces of hand-thrown pottery designed and made by Clive King just a few miles away at The Malmesbury Pottery.
If you are playing an active role in the UK's cider and perry resurgence, we hope you'll enjoy our selection of cider - both traditional hand-pulled and draught. The atmosphere and quality of drinks at The Priory Inn's bar has been recognised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) members with an entry in The Good Beer Guide 2010 and a nomination as a regional finalist in 2009.
We have an enormous 'walk around' open log fire, bare boards, oak tables and beautiful high exposed timber beams of the old Priory stable block. On hazy days, catch the lazy sun on our patio with an ice-packed gin and tonic and let our bar team tell you about the local area - kick back, and relax!
Alternatively, for a calming cappuccino or espresso and stroll through the papers, head for the coffee bar. Sink into a chocolate leather sofa, tuck your feet under you, and switch off with a warm and gooey muffin or pastry straight from our oven.
Of course the world doesn't stop turning just because you are away, so keep in touch by emailing or surfing the web from our Internet terminal.
A babyccino in the coffee bar will go down a treat with your little companions: warm creamy milk-froth with a yummy melted marshmallow - but don't worry, no caffeine! Our selection of toys and books will keep them busy, giving you a chance to relax and chat.
